- 1 1/2 c. loosely packed fresh basil leaves
- 3/4 lb. butter (do not substitute)
- 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tsp. white pepper
Directions

1In food processor, chop basil.

2Add butter, lemon juice and pepper.

3Blend until smooth.

4Drop by half tablespoons onto cookie sheet; freeze.

5Remove.

6Store in freezer bags.

7Serve with favorite bread or use to flavor chicken, fish or vegetables.
