- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 6 medium carrots, thinly sliced on bias
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/4 tsp. basil, crushed
Directions

1In medium skillet melt the butter or margarine; add the onion and saute until wilted.

2Add the sliced carrots.

3Sprinkle with salt, pepper and basil.

4Cook, covered, simmering 15 to 20 minutes, just until carrots are tender.
