- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. margarine (1 stick)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 2 pkg. active dry yeast
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/4 c. wheat bran
- 5 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Heat milk and margarine together.

2Bring to a scalding level (do not boil).

3In a large bowl, add sugar and salt.

4In a small bowl, pour in lukewarm water.

5Add yeast to lukewarm water.

6Let stand until yeast is soft (about 10 minutes).

7Pour milk and margarine mixture into large bowl with sugar and salt.

8Let set until mixture is lukewarm.

9Add beaten eggs, mix well.

10Add yeast. Stir in wheat bran.

11Add 5 1/2 cups flour.

12Let dough rise 2 hours.

13Stir down with spoon, about 3 times, while dough is rising.

14Spoon bread dough into greased muffin tins.

15Let rise 2 hours.

16Bake about 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown at 350°.
