Bavarian Beef Sandwich

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped green peppers
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can beef gravy
  • 2 c. shredded cabbage
  • 4 hard rolls, split and toasted
  • 1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Brown beef, onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Stir in gravy and cabbage.

    Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Spoon 1/2 cup mixture on bottom half of each roll; top with cheese and cover with top half of roll.
