- 9-inch baked pie shell
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
- 1 2/3 c. milk, divided
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. cocoa
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. chilled whipping cream
Directions

1Prepare pie shell; cool.

2In saucepan, sprinkle gelatin over 1 cup milk; let stand 2 minutes to soften.

3Combine sugar and cocoa; add to mixture in saucepan.

4Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils.

5Remove from heat; add butter and stir until melted.

6Blend in remaining 2/3 cup milk and vanilla. Cool.

7Chill until mixture begins to set, stirring.

8Beat cream until stiff; carefully fold into chocolate mixture.

9Pour into pie shell.

10Chill until set.
