  • 54 ounces sauerkraut bavarian style, undrained, 2 x 27 ounce cans
  • 2 pounds sausage polish kielbasa, pre-cooked, cut into 3 inch pieces
  • 1 each onions thinly sliced, seperated into rings
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon, powdered instant
  • 2 teaspoons celery seeds

Directions

    In bottom of slow cooking pot, layer 1 can sauerkraut, 1 lb sausage pieces, half the onion slices, 1/2 teaspoons boulllon and 1/4 teaspoons celery seed.

    Repeat layers.

    Cover and cook at Low for 7 to 9 hours or High for 3 to 4 hours.

    Serve with boiled potatoes and apple raisin salad.
