BBQ Bacon Chicken Strips

Ingredients
- 6 ounces, weight Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast
- 10 slices Bacon
- 3/4 cups Ketchup
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Grainy Mustard
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 3 Tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup
- 20 Toothpicks For Serving
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425 F.

2Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil or use a non-stick baking sheet pan.

3Set your boneless/skinless chicken breast on a clean work surface.

4Using a piece of waxed paper, cover the top and use a rolling pin to flatten out the chicken breast.

5Cut it width-wise into strips about 1/2 thick.

6Cut bacon slices in half down the center.

7Wrap each chicken strip with a bacon half and place on prepared baking sheet.

8In a saucepan add ketchup through maple syrup.

9Stir well with a spatula.

10Heat on medium low heat and cook for 3-4 minutes to mix ingredients.

11Remove saucepan from heat and use a brush to coat the bacon wrapped chicken strips with sauce.

12Place pan in the oven on the middle rack and bake for 18-20 minutes.

13Remove from oven and put the chicken strips on paper towels to absorb grease.

14Serve on a platter with toothpicks.

15Note: You can use a ramekin with warmed BBQ sauce for dipping, if desired.
