  • 6 Chicken leg quarters
  • 3 Tbs grey salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 Tbs oregeno
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp chili flakes
  • 1 Tbs cider vinegar
  • 8 bricks
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 c olive oil

Directions

    Blend all dry ingredients in a spice mill or coffee grinder,

    Wash and pat dry chicken leg quarters,

    Mix olive oil and cider vinegar and rub all over chicken,
  4. 4
    Rub the dry spice mixture onto the chicken,
  5. 5
    Let chicken marinate for 30 minutes,

    Put the chicken on the BBQ over med high heat,
  7. 7
    Put four bricks in each of two casserole or similar dishs and place on top of 3 chicken pieces,

    Cook 4-5 minutes on one side,
  9. 9
    Flip and cook 4-5 minutes on the other side or until chicken is done.
