10 - 12 pieces Bone in Chicken with skin on(can use skinless and boneless if you prefer),
salt,
pepper,
garlic powder,
1 1/2 cups white zinfendel wine,
1 - 2 Tablespoons liquid smoke,

Wash chicken under cold water, pat dry.

Mix even portions of salt, pepper, & garlic powder (enough to rub over all chicken pieces).

Rub over chicken and let set for 1 - 2 hours or overnight in fridge.

BBQ over medium heat until chicken temperature reaches 165 degrees. Depending on size and type of pieces used this could take 30 - 45 minutes.

Line an ice chest (size, just big enough to fit chicken and close properly)with foil.

Once temperature is reached take chicken and place in foil lined ice chest.

Mix the liguid smoke in the wine and pour over chicken. Cover with foil and close ice chest tightly. Allow to continue cooking in ice chest for at least 30 - 40 minutes. This allows the chicken time to absorb the steam of wine and liguid smoke. Remove from ice chest and serve. Chicken should be tender and almost fall off the bone.
