BBQ Roast Beef

  • 2 lbs boneless roast beef
  • 16 ounces of favorite barbecue sauce
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 8 hamburger buns or 8 hard rolls

Directions

    Place roast in Crock Pot.

    Cover; cook on low for 10-12 hours or high for 5-6 hours.

    Remove the roast.

    Shred the meat with 2 forks.

    Pour out any liquid in Crock Pot.

    Return the meat to the Crock Pot and add the barbecue sauce, brown sugar,, lemon juice and onion.

    Cook on low for 2 hours or high for 1 hour.

    Serve with hamburger buns or hard rolls.
