Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb bulk pork sausage
  • 1/2 lb ground chuck
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup fine breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Directions

    Mix sausage, chuck, egg, cheese, and bread crumbs. Shape into two dozen 1/2 balls.

    In an ungreased skillet, brown balls slowly on all sides, about 15 minutes. Pour off excess fat.

    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat.

    Cover and simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to coat meatballs.
