Bean, Barley and Sausage Soup

- 1 pound red kidney beans dry
- 1 package polish kielbasa sausage smoked, sliced
- 7 cups water
- 1 cup pearl barley
- 2 each garlic cloves peeled
- 3 each bay leaves
Directions

1Put rinsed beans in large saucepan.

2Add water, cover and let stand overnight.

3Drain off water the next day.

4Put beans, barley and remaining ingredients into crockpot.

5Stir.

6Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.

7Remove bay leaves.

8Salt to taste when serving.
