- 3 to 5 lb. pork roast
- 1 lb. dry pinto beans
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 small can chopped chillies
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- season to taste
Directions

1Rinse pinto beans.

2Place in a large pot.

3Add pork roast and other ingredients.

4Pour enough water to cover roast.

5Cover pot and simmer for at least 5 hours or until meat shreds.

6Stir to thicken.

7Serve a spoonful of mixture on taco shells or soft flour shells using other condiments such as lettuce, tomatoes, cheese or sour cream.

8May also be served over corn chips.
