  • 14 oz. can pinto beans
  • 4 tsp. cumin
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped (about 1/2 c.)
  • 3/4 c. Colby cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 c. lettuce, shredded
  • 6 oz. picante sauce (mild)

Directions

    Put small amount of oil in frying pan. Smash beans and cumin together and simmer until well blended.

    Put in 9-inch pie pan. Layer picante sauce, then cheese. Top with lettuce, tomato and onion. Dip with tortilla chips.
