- 1 (16 oz.) can whole green beans
- 1/3 c. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. dill seed
- 1 tsp. mixed pickling spices
- 1 medium onion
- 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Drain beans, reserve liquid.

2Mix reserved liquid with vinegar, sugar, dill seed, pickling spices and 1 teaspoon salt; bring to boiling.

3Reduce heat; cover.

4Simmer 5 minutes.

5Add beans; heat through.

6Cool and drain.

7Toss with onion and oil. Cover and chill overnight.

8This will keep up to a week in a tightly covered plastic container.
