Bean Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 can Blue Lake green beans
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can garbanzo beans
  • 1 can wax beans
  • 1 c. celery, chopped
  • 3/4 c. onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. green peppers
  • small jar pimento, chopped and drained

Directions

    Mix sugar, vinegar and oil and get hot enough for sugar to dissolve.

    Cool before using.

    Drain all of your beans and add celery, onion, green peppers and pimento.

    Pour your liquid mixture over all your ingredients.

    Mix well and chill.

    This is great for picnics and church dinners. Can be made days in advance and will keep for weeks.
