  • 1 c. Karo syrup
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 2 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix together all ingredients for filling, add pecans last. Pour into pie shell.

    Bake at 400° for 15 mins.

    Reduce heat to 350° and bake for 30-35 mins. or longer.

    Outer edges of filling should be firm, center should be slightly soft.
