- 2 lb. small white navy beans
- 1 large onion
- 1 can tomatoes
- 2 lb. ham hock
Directions

1Soak beans overnight in water.

2Heat and boil for 10 minutes. Drain.

3Add 4-quarts of hot water.

4Add ham hock and diced ham and finely diced onion.

5Cook slowly for 3 hours.

6Add tomatoes last 1/2 hour.

7Salt and pepper to taste.
