- 2 c. beans
- 2 Tbsp. onion, chopped fine
- 2 Tbsp. bacon, finely chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 3 Tbsp. flour
Directions

1Soak beans in water overnight.

2Drain and put into saucepan with 6 cups boiling water and boil slowly for 2 hours or until soft.

3Add onion and bacon which have been fried light brown.

4Boil 5 minutes.
