Ingredients
- 1 lb. soup beans
- small piece of ham with bone
- 3 potatoes
- 1/2 c. carrot, finely chopped
- 1/2 c. celery, finely chopped
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. season salt
Directions

1Cook beans and ham together, until beans are tender. Separately, cook carrots, celery, onions and seasoning together and add to ham and beans.

2Cook potatoes and drain, reserving broth.

3Mash potatoes.

4Add reserved broth to ham and beans, and simmer for about 20 minutes.

5Add mashed potatoes last and simmer for about 15 minutes.
