- 1 bottle (355 ml.) beer (about 1 1/2 cups)
- 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
- 2-3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1-1/3 tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1-1/4 cup grated old Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.

2Uncap beer; let sit until at room temperature.

3Shaking constantly, toast sesame seeds in heavy skillet over low heat until golden brown, about 5 minutes.

4Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and mustard in large bowl.

5Mix well.

6Add 1 cup cheese; mix well.

7Pour in beer.

8Stir just to combine.

9Pour batter into prepared pan.

10Sprinkle top with remaining shredded cheese and toasted sesame seeds.

11Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
