- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 2 bay leaves
Directions

1Sort and wash beans; place in a large Dutch oven.

2Cover with water 2 inches above beans; let soak overnight.

3Drain beans; cover with water.

4Cover and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
