Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. round steak
- 1 small clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 1/2 lb. broccoli, cut into bite size pieces
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- hot, cooked rice
Directions

1In wok or skillet, stir-fry beef, garlic and salt in hot oil. Stir in soy sauce.

2Cook, covered, 2 or 3 minutes.

3Remove meat and set aside.

4Add broccoli and 3/4 cup water to wok.

5Bring to boiling.

6Stir, then continue cooking, covered, 2 to 5 minutes more.

7Add meat.

8Combine cornstarch and 1/2 cup cold water.

9Pour into center of meat mixture.

10Cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes more or until thickened and bubbly.

11Serve with hot rice.
