Beef And Mushrooms Over Rice

Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean stew beef (or deer), cut into small cubes
- 12 oz. sliced fresh mushrooms
- 2 large sliced green peppers
- 1/2 c. diced onions
- 1 Tbsp. oleo
- 2 cans beef broth
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- water
- salt and pepper
- garlic salt
- 1 1/2 c. rice
Directions

1Add the mushrooms, peppers and onions to the oleo and cook 15 minutes in a 12-inch skillet.

2Then add the beef, broth and seasonings.

3Cook over low to medium heat for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours.

4Add the cornstarch to a little water and add to mixture until it thickens.

5Serve hot over cooked rice.

6Serves 4.
