- 6 to 8 chopped green onions with tops
- 5 shredded carrots
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 3 c. cooked rice
- 1/3 c. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. sliced almonds, toasted
- 1 Tbsp. oil
Directions

1Toast almonds in oil in heavy skillet and set aside.

2Saute ground beef with chopped onions.

3When browned slightly, add grated carrots, cooked rice and soy sauce.

4Cook just until carrots are tender, approximately 10 minutes.

5Serve with toasted almonds.

6Simple but good.
