- 2 1/2 lb. stew meat (beef or pork)
- 1 medium green pepper
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 14 oz. catsup
- 12 to 14 oz. chili sauce
- 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
Directions

1Bring stew to boil, using 2 cups water.

2Simmer for 4 hours. Mix 1 cup meat broth with remaining ingredients; boil 20 minutes. Pour over cooked meat that has been shredded.

3Simmer for 1 hour; let stand 2 hours to bring out the flavor.

4(Add water as needed in the 4 hour cooking time.)

5Serve on buns.
