- 4 or 5 lb. lean stew beef (I use chuck roast)
- 2 large cans tomatoes
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 2 c. water
- 8 cloves garlic (I use minced garlic in a jar)
- dash of Tabasco sauce
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Put all in large saucepan and cook for 5 or 6 hours or until beef falls into shreds.

2The mixture should be of a consistency for serving on buns.

3(Butt end of fresh pork can be used in this recipe.)
