- 3 to 4 lb. beef brisket
- garlic salt to taste
- seasoned salt to taste
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1/3 c. barbecue sauce
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. red wine
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Sprinkle brisket generously on both sides with garlic salt and seasoned salt.

2Put into a 9 x 12-inch baking dish.

3Add onion. Mix barbecue sauce, soy sauce, wine and brown sugar.

4Pour over meat.

5Cover tightly with foil and bake in a preheated 350° oven for 3 hours. Remove meat from sauce; cool slightly.

6Slice across grain into thin slices and arrange on serving platter.

7Combine flour and water; add to pan drippings and stir until gravy thickens.

8Pour some of the gravy over meat and pass remaining gravy at the table.
