- 4 lb. beef brisket
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 3/4 c. sherry
Directions

1Marinate brisket in 1/2 cup sherry for 2 hours, turning every 1/2 hour.

2Mix 1/4 cup sherry with dry onion soup mix.

3Put on top of brisket.

4Wrap in heavy foil with sauce and bake 4 1/2 hours at 300°.

5Cool and refrigerate overnight.

6The next day, slice meat and pour juice over meat.

7Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour at 350°.

8Serve.
