- 3 lb. round steak, cubed
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. Burgundy
- 1 pkg. beef stew mix
- 1 pkg. brown gravy mix
- salt and pepper
- dash of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 1/2 c. mushrooms (canned or fresh)
- 10 small whole onions or 1 jar small whole onions
- 1 c. more Burgundy
- more water (if needed)
Directions

1Roll the steak in flour and brown in the margarine.

2Place meat in a large roaster and cover with the water, 1 cup Burgundy, stew mix, gravy mix, salt, pepper and dash of Worcestershire sauce.

3Bake at 350° until almost tender.

4Add the mushrooms, onions, 1 cup Burgundy and more water, if needed.

5Bake until tender.

6Good served over rice.
