- 1 lb. top sirloin beef
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 10 or 12 sweet pearl onions
- 1 c. Burgundy wine
- 1 c. water
- 1 pkg. pork gravy mix
- 3 Tbsp. Crisco oil
Directions

1One tablespoon oil, 2 tablespoons wine, lite salt and pepper and garlic powder, add meat marinade in small bowl in fridge one hour.

2Cut meat across the grain into 1 1/2-inch thick strips. Brown in remaining oil until just past medium.

3Put in mushrooms, just enough to warm them.

4Add 1 cup water and 1 cup wine.

5Take off fire to add gravy mix.

6Put back on fire; add onions and bring to a boil.

7Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

8Serve over noodles or mashed potatoes.
