- 2 lb. top round steak
- 1 (3 oz.) canned mushrooms, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1 3/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. dry red wine
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Cut steak into 1-inch cubes.

3Brown meat slowly in skillet sprayed with Pam.

4Transfer to 1 1/2-quart casserole with tight fitting cover.

5Add remaining ingredients. Stir well.

6Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours.

7Remove cover and bake 15 minutes longer or until tender.

8Serve on toast, rice or noodles.
