- 1 1/2 lb. beef cubes (1 1/2-inches)
- 2 Tbsp. salad oil
- 2 cans French onion soup
- 1/2 soup can water
- 1/2 soup can Burgundy or other dry red
- 3 c. uncooked medium noodles *
- 1 can mushrooms
Directions

1In large heavy pan, brown beef in oil; pour off fat.

2Add soup, water and Burgundy.

3Cover; cook over low heat for 2 hours. Add noodles and mushrooms.

4Cook 20 minutes or until done.

5Stir often.

6Add more water if necessary.
