- 2/3 c. sliced carrots
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 c. Burgundy or other dry red wine
- 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. water, divided
- 3/4 tsp. dried whole marjoram
- 3/4 tsp. dried whole thyme
- 1/2 tsp. beef-flavored bouillon granules
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 2 c. fresh mushroom halves
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
