- 1 lb. ground beef
- butter
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles (extra wide)
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
- 6 spring onions, chopped (optional)
- grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Brown beef in butter.

2Add tomato sauce; simmer together for 2 minutes.

3Cook noodles according to package directions until tender; drain.

4While piping hot, mix in cream cheese, sour cream and onions.

5In an 11 3/4 x 9 3/8 x 1 1/2-inch aluminum pan, put one layer of noodle mixture, then one of meat mixture.

6Repeat layers, ending with a layer of noodles on top.

7Sprinkle with grated cheese.

8Freeze.

9To bake, preheat oven to 350°.

10Thaw and bake for 30 minutes.
