- 1 1/2 lb. flank steak
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/3 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. monosodium glutamate
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire
Directions

1Trim all fat from meat.

2Semi-freeze meat and slice with the grain making strips 2 inches long and 1/2 inch wide.

3Place meat in shallow baking dish.

4Combine all other ingredients and pour over meat:

5marinate overnight.

6Preheat oven to 140° to 150°. Lay strips of meat in single layer on oven rack with baking sheet or foil underneath to catch drippings.

7Leave oven door open a crack and bake 8 to 10 hours, or until meat is chewy.

8Test by tasting occasionally.

9Serve as appetizers or snacks.

10Store in plastic bag or airtight container on pantry shelf.
