  • 3 c. carrots, grated
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped

    Beat together the first 6 ingredients.

    Add the remaining ingredients to mixture; blend well.

    Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
