  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. meat
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. hickory smoked salt

Directions

    Cut meat into thin strips no longer than 1/8-inch wide. Marinate for 30 minutes.

    Dry in oven at 150° to 200° for 4 to 7 hours or until dry with oven door slightly ajar.

    Line oven bottom with tinfoil.

    This also can be done in a dehydrator until dry.
