  • 5 lb. hamburger (little fat)
  • 5 rounded tsp. Morton Tender Quick
  • 2 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 1/2 tsp. coarse cracked pepper
  • 1 tsp. smoked hickory salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. oregano

Directions

    Mix in large bowl.

    Put in the refrigerator and mix or knead each day for 5 days.

    On the 5th day, shape into 4 logs and place on broiler pan on bottom rack of oven.

    Bake 8 hours at 140°.

    Turn every 2 hours.
