  • 4 lb. cubed beef
  • 1 pt. beer
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 sliced onions
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 4 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground pepper
  • 2 cloves chopped garlic

Directions

    Melt butter in a large skillet and saute onions until tender. Coat beef cubes in flour and brown them in a separate skillet with oil and butter.

    Add browned meat, salt, pepper and garlic to onions.

    Add enough beer to cover.

    Cover tightly and simmer until meat is tender.

    Serves 6.
