  • 3 lbs stewing beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 14 cups ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 34 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 12 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 12 cup cold water

Directions

    Mix first nine ingredients in crock pot.

    Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours.

    Mix cornstarch and cold water.

    Turn crock pot to HIGH and add cornstarch mixture.

    Cook until thickened, about 20 minutes.
