- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 medium green pepper, chopped
- 2 tsp. snipped parsley
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 (8 oz.) can whole tomatoes
- 1 1/2 c. uncooked instant rice
Directions

1Cook and stir ground beef in 10-inch skillet until light brown; drain.

2Sprinkle beef with flour and salt.

3Stir in green pepper, onion and parsley; cook and stir over low heat until onion is tender, about 5 minutes.

4Stir water and tomatoes (with liquid) into beef mixture.

5Break up tomatoes with fork.

6Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and let stand 5 minutes.

7Yields 4 servings.
