Beef Rissoles

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 None red onion, grated
  • 1 None egg
  • 2 tbsp fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped, plus extra to serve
  • 1 tbsp barbecue sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • None None mashed potatoes, green beans and gravy, to serve

Directions

    Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, parsley, barbecue sauce and garlic. Season. Shape into 8 flattened rissoles. Place on a baking tray and chill for 15 mins.

    Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Fry rissoles for 4-5 mins per side, until golden and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.

    Serve with mashed potatoes, green beans and gravy. Garnish with extra chopped parsley.
