Ingredients
- 5 lb. roast
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. ground cloves
- 1 tsp. mace
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- 2 medium onions, chopped or 1 Tbsp. onion powder
- 2 cloves garlic or 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. vinegar
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients and rub into meat on both sides.

2Place in baking dish and dribble the lemon juice, vinegar and salad oil over meat.

3Cover dish and turn meat occasionally for 4 hours or more.

4(I let meat marinate overnight.)

5Cover meat with sliced onions.

6Add water and bake at 300° for 2 hours.
