Beef Sausage Corn Bread

- 1 1/2 lb. beef sausage
- 2 c. self-rising white corn meal mix
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. beef sausage drippings
Directions

1Heat oven to 375°.

2Place sausage in large skillet and fry until browned on all sides.

3Remove sausage from skillet and cut each in quarters.

4Place corn meal mix in large mixing bowl, stirring with wooden spoon.

5Add egg, milk and beef drippings from skillet.

6Stir in sliced sausage.

7Grease a 9-inch round baking pan and pour in batter.

8Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
