Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 large cloves garlic
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/3 c. beef broth or water
- 1 pkg. frozen peas and carrots
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 c. hot seasoned mashed potatoes
- minced parsley
Directions

1In large heavy ovenproof skillet, heat the oil.

2Add onion and garlic.

3Saute over medium heat until tender.

4Add beef and cook until browned.

5Drain fat.

6Add salt, pepper, broth, peas and carrots.

7Cover and simmer 5 minutes, stirring once to break up vegetables.

8Mix the flour with Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Stir into the meat mixture.

9Spread the mashed potatoes over the top.

10Make criss-cross markings with fork.

11Bake at 450° for 15 to 20 minutes.

12Let stand 10 minutes.

13Sprinkle with parsley.
