- 1 lb. stew beef
- 2 c. potatoes, cut in large pieces
- 2 or 3 carrots, cut in chunks
- 1 can tomatoes
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. diced onion
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
Directions

1Cook stew beef in water to cover, until tender.

2Add vegetables to meat and cook until vegetables are tender.

3In a skillet, put oil and diced onions; fry until brown.

4Stir onion mixture into pot of meat and vegetables.

5Simmer 3 minutes or until stew has thickened.
