  • 1 lb. beef, cubed in 1-inch squares
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 5 small potatoes
  • 4 small carrots
  • 1 c. tomatoes and another 1/4 c. water
  • canned corn

Directions

    Brown meat and add onion, salt, pepper and water.

    Place small potatoes, carrots and tomatoes over or around meat.

    Cook over low heat about 2 or 3 hours, until tender.

    Add corn; cook about 10 minutes.
