  • small pkg. beef chunks for stew
  • 3 to 4 potatoes, cubed
  • 3 to 4 carrots, peeled and cut up
  • 1 onion, cut up
  • any other vegetables (fresh or leftover)
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 soup cans water

Directions

    Place vegetables and meat in Dutch oven.

    Add seasonings. Pour tomato soup over all and add 2 cans of water.

    Stir.

    Bake at 275° for 2 1/2 to 5 hours, covered.

    Serve with biscuits or French bread.
