- 2 lb. stewing beef
- 3 to 4 carrots
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 3 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
- 1/2 c. red wine or bouillon
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1 c. tomato sauce
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Put in roaster or baking dish.

2Cook at 250° for 5 to 6 hours. During last hour, add 1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms and potatoes. Delicious with crusty bread and salad.
